Sadurn is the songwriting project of G DeGroot, most known for being a four piece indie rock band out of Philadelphia and for the 2022 album “Radiator”. A recent move to Washington state has G performing these songs acoustic and without the band, trading the rock element for a more candid emphasis on the bedroom folk spirit at the core of the songwriting.

How Strange It Is organizes collaborative chaos into tight, structured songs indebted to 90s indie rock along with post-punk and contemporary slowcore. Their most recent release, In the Light of the Blistering Moon (Bud Tapes/Candlepin Records 2023), displays songwriter Jordan Krinsky's deepening musical relationship with his bandmates and the thrilling results of their sonic explorations. Backed by Annie Miranda (bass), Annie Fifer  (guitar), Kyle Gordon (drums), Caleb Ballard (guitar, synth, clarinet) and Elian Conroy (guitar, trumpet, synth). Krinsky’s introspective writing intersects with improvisations and experiments catapulting tender synth drones into rich layered guitar arrangements. The band lives in Portland, Oregon where they formed in 2021.
